Thomas Stevens was killed June 27, 1862.

Fireman, 1/c Charles R. Braun was killed June 5, 1943.

Sgt. Michael G. Froehlich was killed over Europe on June 11, 1943.

Cpl. Hector Mc Neill was killed at Anzio, Italy, on June 1, 1944.

Sgt. Patrick J. Barbone was killed over Europe on June 2, 1944.

Merchant Marine Joseph Razes died in the South Pacific on June 2, 1944.

2nd Lt. Herman M. Doell was KIA in Europe on June 6, 1944.

Albert Lariviero was KIA at Normandy on June 6, 1944.

Carmen Olivo was killed during the invasion of France on June 6, 1944.

Lee White was killed during the invasion of France on June 8, 1944.

Arthur Burke was killed during the Normandy invasion on June 9, 1944.

Edward R. Henris was killed in Europe on June 9, 1944.

Seaman Ronald McCormack was MIA after in Normandy, June 9, 1944.

Harry Nyegaard was killed in Saipan on June 19, 1944.

Emil Ostrowski was killed in France in June 1944.

Sgt. Edward DiCarlo was KIA on Guam on June 26, 1945.

Cpl. Rene J. Flory was killed in the Korean War on June 9, 1951.

Captain William Branch, 28, was killed in Vietnam on June 6, 1970.

Raymond DeLuca, 20, was killed in action in Vietnam on June 27, 1968.

Remember the fallen on Memorial Day

This Memorial Day, let us not forget these Belleville sons, brothers and fathers who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

Private Thomas J. Mooney was killed in action in France on Sept. 27, 1918.

Private Charles Mc Ginty was killed in action in France on Sept. 29, 1918.

Private George Eyre was killed in action in France on Oct. 19, 1918.

Private William T. Smith was killed in action in France on Oct. 23, 1918.

Private George Kalvio, 23, died from pneumonia in France on Oct. 24, 1918.

Private George S. Smith was killed in action on Nov. 1, 1918.

Staff Sgt. Charles A. Marsh, 45, died July 23, 1958, following a highway accident near Ethan Allen Air Force Base in Burlington, Vt.,

Lt. (j.g.) Edward J. Zuczek (j.g.), 22, of Gless Avenue, was lost when the Navy photo reconnaissance plane on which he was serving as navigator went down in a storm at sea off Guam on October 18, 1958.

Roger Crowell, 20, of Tiona Avenue, was killed in action in Vietnam on Jan. 31, 1968.

Donald Saunders, 20, of High Street, was killed in action in Vietnam on March 4, 1968.

Raymond DeLuca, 20, of Meacham Street, was killed in action in Vietnam on June 27, 1968.

Let the people of Belleville forget none of the 112 who died in WWII, the 20 who died in WWI, the 4 who died in Korea, the 11 who died in Vietnam, the 3 who died int he Civil War or those Belleville Sons who died in service during peace time.
